Welcome to the UK Stroke Forum
Dear Colleagues
As the new Chair of the UK Stroke Forum, I am delighted to be working with the Steering Group and Scientific Conference Committee to develop the 2009 conference programme.
In 2008 we hosted over 1,400 delegates who experienced a varied and stimulating event presented across three days.
This year we are moving the conference to the SECC in Glasgow and after listening to delegate feedback and evaluating last year's event we are currently planning the 2009 programme.
The constituent organisations of the UK Stroke Forum have nominated very enthusiastic and passionate individuals to help steer this important multidisciplinary event. This conference couldn't happen without the input from these key individuals and I would like to thank both the Steering Group and Conference Committee for their commitment and support.
