The 2010 conference programme is currently being developed by the Commitee and the preliminary programme will be available to view online as soon as possible.

What does the fee include?
Delegate fees include lunches and refreshments for the duration of the conference programme, plus free admission to the accredited Training Sessions. The fee does not include accommodation or the Gala Dinner.
How do I qualify for discounted registration fees?
Discounted registration fees are available for any healthcare professional who is a member of a UK Stroke Forum coalition organisation. For example if you are a member of The British Association of Stroke Physicians or the National Stroke Nursing Forum you will qualify.
Discounted fees are also available for employees, members and associates of coalition organisations.
How do I book accommodation for 2010 in Glasgow?
Accommodation is not included in the delegate rate. All accommodation is being handled by Glasgow City Marketing Bureau Booking Service and full details of room rates and how to book will be available soon.

How to the get to the SECC, Glasgow
The SECC is easily accessible:
By Road
SECC is just off Junction 19 of the M8 motorway. On-site parking is available for over 2,500 vehicles at £5.00 per car per visit.
By Air
Glasgow is served by three international airports, Glasgow International, Glasgow Prestwick and Edinburgh International.
Glasgow's International Airport is less than 15 minutes drive by direct motorway link from the city centre
From the airport, First Bus 757 service operates daily (every 20 minutes) to Glasgow City Centre via the SECC and return.
By Rail
Glasgow has the largest rail network in the UK outside London. Glasgow's Central Station is connected with every city in the UK, while Queen Street Station serves central and northern Scotland. Call National Rail Enquiries on 0845 7484950. Once you're in Glasgow, your journey can be completed by train. Trains run to the SECC from the city centre with a journey time of just three minutes.
By Coach
Coach operators run services to Glasgow's Buchanan Bus Station from throughout the UK.
Can I become a member of the UK Stroke Forum?
As a coalition of organisations, the UK Stroke Forum does not offer membership to individuals but encourages them to become a member of one of the coalition organisations.
By becoming a member of any of the coalition organisations, not only will you receive their standard membership benefits but you will be entitled to discounted rates to the annual UK Stroke Forum Conference.
Depending on your interests or professional background, membership is currently available with a number of coalition organisations.
Can my organisation become a member of the UK Stroke Forum?
We are always keen to hear from organisations that share in our aim to improve stroke care, by promoting multidisciplinary stroke research and education amongst healthcare professionals.

How do I submit an abstract for 2010 conference?
The Call for Abstracts opens 26 April and closes 18 June 2010. Please keep checking the site for further updates and details on how to submit.
NOTE: All successful authors will be eligible for conference registration at the Early Bird rate, even after the Early Bird deadline has expired.
If I am selected to present an abstract, which category of delegate fee am I entitled to?
All successful abstract applicants are eligible for the EARLY BIRD delegate fee when registering their place.
We regret that we are unable to cover expenses for authors selected to present abstracts or posters.
What is the Ideas Fair?
Applications for the 2010 Ideas Fair will open in April and will close in October. All applicantswill be notified of the results by email by the end of October 2010.
The Ideas Fair forms part of the UK Stroke Forum exhibition and is intended to be an opportunity for delegates to share innovations in technology, research and good practice.
All ideas fair presenters must register to attend the UK Stroke Forum Conference. We regret that we are unable to cover expenses for ideas fair presenters.
I am a healthcare professional but I work for a company. Can I still apply for a space at the Ideas Fair?
The Ideas Fair is not intended to be a marketing opportunity for established products or services. Its aim is to highlight innovations, so we are looking for ‘ideas’ at an earlier development stage. We would advise that you to submit an application with as much information as possible about the organisation you represent and the ‘idea’ you are proposing to present and await a response from the Conference Scientific Committee.
