Can I become a member of the UK Stroke Forum?

As a coalition of organisations, the UK Stroke Forum does not offer membership to individuals but encourages them to become a member of one of the coalition organisations.

By becoming a member of any of the coalition organisations, not only will you receive their standard membership benefits but you will be entitled to discounted rates to the annual UK Stroke Forum Conference.

Depending on your interests or professional background, membership is currently available with a number of coalition organisations.

Can my organisation become a member of the UK Stroke Forum?

We are always keen to hear from organisations that share in our aim to improve stroke care, by promoting multidisciplinary stroke research and education amongst healthcare professionals.

Currently we are reviewing our membership process, but if you would like to inform us of your organisation’s interest in joining the coalition, please contact the UK Stroke Forum

How do I qualify for discounted registration fees?

Please note that all authors who are presenting an abstract or a poster at the UK Stroke Forum Conference must register to attend.

If I am selected to present an abstract, which category of delegate fee am I entitled to?

All successful abstract applicants are eligible for the EARLY BIRD delegate fee when registering their place. Please use the normal  registration form when booking and select the relevant EARLY BIRD option.

We regret that we are unable to cover expenses for authors selected to present abstracts or posters.

What is the Ideas Fair? What are the criteria for applying?

The Ideas Fair forms part of the UK Stroke Forum exhibition and is intended to be an opportunity for delegates to share innovations in technology, research and good practice. You might wish to display or give a demonstration of the idea, but ultimately this part of the exhibition is intended to be interactive so one or two people will need to be present during the breaks in the programme to take questions form delegates or give demonstrations.

Anyone can submit an application to the Ideas Fair on the basis that this will be reviewed and selected by the Conference Scientific Committee.

Applications for the Ideas Fair have now CLOSED - all applicants will be notified by the end of October.

All ideas fair presenters must register to attend the UK Stroke Forum Conference. We regret that we are unable to cover expenses for ideas fair presenters.

I am a healthcare professional but I work for a company. Can I still apply for a space at the Ideas Fair?

The Ideas Fair is not intended to be a marketing opportunity for established products or services. Its aim is to highlight innovations, so we are looking for ‘ideas’ at an earlier development stage. We would advise that you to submit an application with as much information as possible about the organisation you represent and the ‘idea’ you are proposing to present and await a response from the Conference Scientific Committee.
