UK Swallowing Research Group

The UK Swallowing Research Group (UKSRG) have biannual meetings which provide a scientific forum for swallowing and dysphagia research. They are a group of clinical academics and scientists from a wide range of professional disciplines including biomedical engineering, speech and language therapy, ENT, gastroenterology, stroke medicine, dietetics, oral health, general medicine and neurology.

The primary aims of the group are:

Disseminate and debate the latest swallowing research
Bring researchers together from basic science and clinical practice to share ideas and develop research projects
Encourage peer review and support for work in progress
Invite international research leaders to present key note lectures
