UK Swallowing Research Group
The UK Swallowing Research Group (UKSRG) have biannual meetings which provide a scientific forum for swallowing and dysphagia research. They are a group of clinical academics and scientists from a wide range of professional disciplines including biomedical engineering, speech and language therapy, ENT, gastroenterology, stroke medicine, dietetics, oral health, general medicine and neurology.
The primary aims of the group are:
- Disseminate and debate the latest swallowing research
- Bring researchers together from basic science and clinical practice to share ideas and develop research projects
- Encourage peer review and support for work in progress
- Invite international research leaders to present key note lectures
