Scottish Stroke Nurses Forum
The Scottish Stroke Nurses Forum (SSNF) is for registered nurses with an interest in stroke (events / conferences are open to other health professionals).
Aims of Forum
- Promote the essential role of nurses in stroke.
- Share and develop knowledge, expertise and best practice.
- Incorporate research–based evidence into practice, and promote research to improve outcomes.
- Help develop core competencies, education and training initiatives for stroke nurses.
- Advise and influence the provision of stroke nursing services, which impinge on patient care and carers at local and national level.

How do you become a member of SSNF?
Membership is free. Joining is easy, simply download the flyer from the webpage, complete the membership enquiry form and return to the SSNF Secretary. Your details will then be held on a secure membership database. As a member you will receive regular mailings and invitations to participate in related research studies. Members are required to update the directory details periodically to renew their membership.
