- Research fellowships, project grants, commissioned research and minor
awards - Multi-disciplinary stroke training programmes, conferences and
seminars, and career development awards for nursing and therapy staff - The volunteer stroke service, focusing on support for stroke
survivors with communication problems - Support for local volunteer-led stroke clubs
- Stroke nurses, supporting people returning home from hospital after a
stroke, including specialist services for young stroke survivors - The Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland nurse-led advice line, and a wide range of patient
information available in booklet, video and audio tape format - Welfare grants and benefits advice
As a patient organisation, Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland does not offer professional membership but can support healthcare professionals in Scotland by providing training, information and research funding.
